Saturn taken on October 21, 2001 with STV Probably the most thrilling object in the night sky! Even small scopes can see the Cassini division separating the outer two bands. An instrument like the STV makes planets easy targets. I took this on the first night out with the STV.\ Location: Ballauer
Observatory, near Azle, Texas Exposure Notes: First light exposure with SBIG STV Saturn taken with handheld digital camera Not bad for just holding a digital camera to the eyepiece. Give it a try! Location: Ballauer
